Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color:#ffad26\" class=\"tadv-color\"><strong> Elements Of Human Trafficking<br \/><\/strong><\/span><br \/> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#595855\" class=\"tadv-color\">On the basis of the definition given in the Trafficking in Persons Protocol, it is evident that trafficking in persons has three constituent elements;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#595855\" class=\"tadv-color\"><strong>The Act<\/strong>&nbsp;(What is done)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#595855\" class=\"tadv-color\">Recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#595855\" class=\"tadv-color\"><strong>The Means<\/strong>&nbsp;(How it is done)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#595855\" class=\"tadv-color\">Threat or use of force, coercion, abduction, fraud, deception, abuse of power or vulnerability, or giving payments or benefits to a person in control of the victim.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#595855\" class=\"tadv-color\"><strong>The Purpose<\/strong>&nbsp;(Why it is done)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#595855\" class=\"tadv-color\">For the purpose of exploitation, which includes exploiting the prostitution of others, sexual exploitation, forced labour, slavery or similar practices and the removal of organs.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#595855\" class=\"tadv-color\">To ascertain whether a particular circumstance constitutes trafficking in persons, consider the definition of trafficking in the Trafficking in Persons Protocol and the constituent elements of the offense, as defined by relevant domestic legislation.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"520\" height=\"402\" src=\"https:\/\/aresint.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Act-Means-Purpose.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1176\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aresint.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Act-Means-Purpose.jpg 520w, https:\/\/aresint.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/Act-Means-Purpose-300x232.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is Human Trafficking?
